Here is the information that we have collected based on frequently asked questions by our listeners and artists

1) What is the main purpose of Vjingle.com and how does it achieve this?
Vjingle is a site started by independents artists themselves and its purpose is to promote their fellow artists. Since the promoters share the same passion as the other independent artists they very well know how to get your music to the right people and get you the fame you deserve. With Vjingle, independent music artists can put their music infront of the entire world without worrying about the promotion and production costs.

2) What is the cost of opening an account?
Opening an account at Vjingle is absolutely free. Be it an artist or a listener there is no fee whatsoever.

3) How much space do I get as an artist?
UNLIMITED...We provide unlimited space to our artists and we think that charging monthly fees to the independent artists is totally out of question. Since, we, ourselves share the same passion we understand how important it is for us to provide you with the right opportunities.

4) Is there a difference between creating a listener account or an artist account?
There is no difference between creating a listener account or an artist account. The only way for us to distinguish an artist from a listener is if you have any songs uploaded. Any user that has at least one song uploaded becomes an artist automatically. So, in case a listener decides to become an artist in the future he doesn’t need to create a separate artist account. He can simply upload his songs in the listener account and become an artist. As easy as that...

5) How does Vjingle make money and from what sources?
As mentioned before; the main purpose of this site is to promote independent artists and not make money. We charge $0 for creating an account and provide unlimited space unlike other sites.

6) How much can I sell my songs for?
You can sell your individual song for as little as 20 cents to max 99 cents. Vjingle charges 20 cents flat fee on each song sale so as to cover transaction costs and other overheads. This is a bear minimum to keep the site running. We do not charge anything until a song is sold.

7) How can I check if I sold any songs and which ones?
Each artist gets a personalized page called “My Page” where he can track all this information under the “My Sales” section. This will tell the artist things like song name, song rate, number of sales and total amount. Artist will also get an email confirmation about the song sale.

8) How and when do I get paid?
Once the artist reaches a total amount of $5 in sales (with the flat fee deduction of 20 cents per song) a link will appear under “My Sales” that will allow you to order your check. We will provide artist with an option of requesting a check or direct tranfer to their paypal account.

9) How do I purchase a song I like?
Sales on Vjingle.com are currently facilitated through the industry-leading payment gateway, Paypal. You will have to create an account in order to proceed with your purchase. Once you checkout you will be redirected to Paypal site where you can complete your purchase. Once completed do not for get to click on the link “Return to Merchant” in order to get back to our site where, if the transaction was successful, you will be provided with a link of your purchased song. You can right click on the link and download the song. In case your transaction is successful and you forget to click on “Return to Merchant” link from Paypal or the transaction approval takes time, don’t worry, as all the purchased song links will be put under “My Purchases” tab on “My Page” after the approval.
